Photo Gallery — Step-Free Entrances

This home by Bonhambuilt, Inc. was constructed on a high elevation at the top of a steep driveway. The red arrow points to a step-free entrance from the level part of the driveway into the laundry room.
Even though the home is built on a basement, the builder shows a step-free entrance through the garage. Additionally, a wooden transition wedge was added to the threshold out to the deck to provide step-free access from inside the home to the deck.

Here is an example of using an inclined sidewalk to achieve a step-free entry. This method is often used by Roy Wendt of Wendt Builders.

An attractive step-free entrance was achieved at this Wendt Builders home through the use of retaining wall and beautiful landscaping.
